About Me

I was born and raised in Grand Island, Nebraska, where I graduated from Grand Island Central Catholic in 2025. I’m currently a journalism major at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln, pursuing my passion for storytelling and media. During high school, I served as the editor of my yearbook for both my junior and senior years, which strengthened my leadership and writing skills. Those experiences inspired me to continue exploring journalism and its impact on communities.

Career Goals

I am not entirely sure what I would like to do with my degree after college yet, but I know that I am passionate about writing and storytelling. I enjoy expressing ideas through words and finding creative ways to connect with an audience. In the future, I would love to pursue a career that allows me to use those skills, whether that’s through editing, journalism, content creation, or another form of professional writing. I’m excited to explore different opportunities that help me grow as a writer and find where my strengths fit best.
